BEGINNERS
Workshops/Classes suitable for total beginners working towards Level One.
Scentwork is such a rewarding activity for our dogs and equally as rewarding for you as the handler. Our beginner courses start with the very basics of scentwork, using food to encourage the dogs to search various areas/items. We will look at some of the theory behind scentwork and as the course progresses, introduce a specific scent for the dogs to find. During the course, we can adapt to each dogs needs, making the searches more challenging or a bit easier as required.
My main aim for the course is that you all have fun!
Daytime courses are held fortnightly and are two hours per session. Evening classes are held weekly and are an hour per session. Each of the courses are the equivalent of six hours long (3 x 2 hour sessions or 6 x 1 hour session)
